Maybe you have some questions before you start?
FAQs
What will happen when I contact you?
I provide a 20 minute initial meeting over Zoom or WhatsApp before working together if required. This gives us an opportunity for you to discuss what you or your teen are seeking help with and ask any questions you have. I will also explain how I work as a therapist and we will be able to see if working together might be something we would like to do.
How much are the sessions?
Sessions are charged on a sliding scale from £70 - £100 per 50 minute session. This allows me to offer some concessionary rates - if you are in need of these, please just ask.
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions take place in my practice room in Hove or online. Please scroll down for further location information.
Are our sessions confidential?
Everything we discuss within our sessions will be treated as confidential, with the following limitations:
I work within the BACP ethical framework for good practice, and therefore undertake professional supervision for my work. The aim of this is to monitor and improve my clinical work. All my supervision is done on a confidential basis and I only use your initials or first name.
In exceptional circumstances, if I have good grounds for believing that you may cause serious harm to yourself or others, or where I am compelled by a court of law, our confidentiality agreement may be broken. I would always make every effort to discuss this with you first.
